8. "All in the Videos" Georgia Supreme Court’s Overturned Murder Conviction and its effect on the Young Thug Trial

Kenneth breaks down the recent Georgia Supreme Court’s decision to overturn a murder conviction where the DA presented a rap video as evidence where defendant Morgan Baker was brandishing a firearm. The lower court’s verdict reminded Kenneth of a guilty verdict for manslaughter that came down many years ago against famous No Limit recording artist Mac Phipps, known as the Camouflage Assassin. The lyrics from Mr. Phipps popular song “Murda, Murda, Kill, Kill” was introduced as evidence to an all white jury in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana (known as St. Slammany). Kenneth gives his opinion on what effect the Georgia Supreme Court’s decision may have on the YSL Young Thug trial.
